Avi Graduates Kindergarten

With her fanciest dress and cap on Avalyn accepted her Kindergarten diploma this afternoon. They also sang a few songs for the parents. She was so proud- as were we.

She will still have a few days left of school next week but they are all for fun!!!!

And here are some pictures-

Piper at 18 months old~

For those keeping track Piper is 18 months old today and she had her "well-baby" appointment. All is well (of course). She weighs in at a mere 22 pounds (Avalyn was 22 pounds at 9 months old..lol) and is 31" tall. That is the 25th percentile for weight and 50th for height. However her noggin measured in at 19 1/2 cm which is the 95th percentile...um... little body, big head! ; )

Health is good, development good. She has dorky feet (she often walks on the inside of her foot instead of the bottom) but doc says that is totally normal at this age and they'll double check at 2 to see if they have finished developing.

She got two shots and screamed bloody murder...but it didn't last too long. She was sound asleep before we left the parking lot! <3

A Picture Is Worth a Thousand Words<3

Everything & Mother's Day

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. I know I did. Jon and Avi surprised me with my very own bike (it's a Colorado thing and it made me feel 10 years old again..lol)! Jon also hooked up for him and I to get our tan on..so look out! We all had brunch at the Brighton Depot..aka the Caboose which was ..um... different. After that we decided to explore. We are trying to get to know our state a little more so this venture took us up the 76. Not much to report.. a slaughter house, a really nice rest area, and a truck with blood dripping down the window.

As for the girls... Avalyn is almost done with kindergarten and she has mixed feelings about the summer. She is excited but afraid there won't be anything to do. Meanwhile she is in soccer again and although she fights me every time she has to go to practice she is doing really well. She says she doesn't want to play anymore; meanwhile, she scored 2 of the teams goals on Saturday including the goal that won the game. It is too bad she doesn't enjoy it more! Other than soccer she is looking forward to Water World again this summer and going to California to see everyone!

Piper is walking all over the place and mimicking everything we say. She is becoming a little ham just like her dad and sister.

Well... as entertaining as my blog may be I am going to post a bunch of pictures from the last couple weeks as I am sure they'll be much more entertaining! You're welcome!<3
